Welcome to my Reef Tank web site. I hope to display on this website what I have, where I came from, and where I'm going with this hobby. I started in December, 2006 with a 24-gallon nano, added a 45-gallon reef in February, 2007, decided I didn't like it and moved everything into a 58-gallon reef in April, 2007. In December 2007, I started up a 240-gallon display tank that I purchased used when someone else got out of the hobby. I have since added a 33-gallon frag system, to which I added a 40-gallon breeder. The 58-gallon tank (from which I moved most of the corals to the 240) was replaced in 2009 by a 50-gallon stock tank for more frag space. Eventually it will be connected to the 'frag system'.
My 240-gallon display tank is a mixed reef with mostly SPS and LPS corals, a few Zoanthids, and some mushrooms that just seem to pop up where they like. I am more of a coral grower than a fish person, but of course I have fish in my tanks.
I love growing and fragging corals. I feel like selling/trading/giving corals to other hobbyists helps keep more from being removed from the oceans. If you see corals on my site that interest you, contact me - I am probably growing frags of them.
This website was started in July of 2007, and at one time I had well over 100 pictures uploaded. But something has been removing them bit by bit. Some changes have been made to the code, and I am ready to try filling it up again. bob

| 2009-08-02 | I have had some modifications made to the website that will hopefully result in these notes, and my pictures staying put instead of disappearing. I will add more photos, and see what happens. |
